BEFORE
AFTER
Above is a picture of the space before the mural was painted.
There was a "closet area" (left side of above photo) that was
never fully finished. The daycare owners had placed a mirror on
the back wall of the closet for the kids to play dress-up, but I felt
the space had a lot of unused hidden potential.

As you can see in the finished picture to the right, the unused
closet area was transformed into a fun place that the kids can
now use as their own "Kids Clubhouse".

The mirror on the back wall of the closet, is now a great feature
which gives the illusion that the Clubhouse extends right
through the back wall - making it feel as though you can walk
right through the Clubhouse into another room!
This area was
painted into the
corner next to the
bookshelves so
that the children
now have a quiet,
relaxing place to
read, under the
shade of a cozy old
tree.
The ceiling of the
Clubhouse was also
painted to make it
appear that little bits
of sky could be seen
through the knots in
the wood - making it
feel like you can look
right up through the
roof of the
Clubhouse when
you're sitting inside!
